Welded beam production area

The main advantage of using welded beams instead of hot-rolled beams is to reduce the cost and time of erection work. They are widely used in both construction and renovation of various facilities such as office centres, shopping malls, agricultural warehouses and others.

We manufacture these products at high level using quality material and equipment.

The technology of welded beam production consists of the following basic operations:

  • cutting a sheet metal workpiece into strips of required dimensions;
  • edge preparation (milling work);
  • assembly and assembly with tacking;
  • welding;
  • finishing treatment.

Cutting sheet metal into strips: rectangular and trapeziform

Equipment:

  • CNC multi-gas plasma metal cutting machine AL-1530+HPR130XD.
    • Maximum dimensions of steel sheets: 1500x3000x32mm.
    • Technology:
      • it allows to get high-quality workpieces without the need of edge treatment, which significantly reduces the cost of manufacturing products.
  • air plasma cutting machine equipped with Jasik CUT-160 (J47);
  • Huawei CG1-30-S mechanised trolley;
  • the in-house designed and manufactured pattern cutting table makes it possible to produce rectangular and trapeziform metal strips as workpieces in the production of beams with uniform and variable cross sections.
    • Maximum dimensions:
      • Length - up to 6,000mm
      • Thickness - up to 55 mm
    • Technology:
      • The pattern cutting table can produce rectangular or trapezoiform metal strips as workpieces for beams with uniform or variable cross sections.

Features:

Plasma cutting machines are equipped with smoke and gas clean-up systems, which are in-house designed and manufactured.

Edge milling of metal strips

Equipment:

  • B22-ZERO chamfering machine
    • Maximum dimensions:
      • chamfer - up to 20mm.

Assembling beam workpieces

Equipment:

  • slipway
    • Maximum dimension:
      • Length - 14,000mm.
    • Technology:
      • The modular design allows several beam bars to be assembled at the same time.

Beam bars welding

Equipment:

  • welding slipway;
  • AT-1 welding tractor;
  • MZ-1250 (M310) automatic submerged-arc welding system;
    • Maximum dimensions:
      • Thickness of steel strips - up to 32 mm.
    • welding is performed by highly skilled and certified operators in compliance with EN ISO 14731.

The fitting of beams with various shaped pieces (flanges, gusset plates, etc.) takes place in the assembly and welding area.

All products are visually and optically inspected by a certified specialist.

Finishing treatment takes place in the protective coating area.
